Decorative works for Abercrombie and Fitch take me around the world.
For 3 month, in the fall of 2009, I stayed in Tokyo, Japan, as an assistant to Mark Beard on an 11 stories high mural inside the A&F flagship store of Ginza.
As a diversion, I wondered every morning in neighborhoods near by, looking for some thing that could take me as far as possible from my american dreamland.
I found it in the elevated Japan Railways tracks, just west of Ginza, filling up 2 sketchbooks with watercolors done on the spot. To be developed later in oil in my New York studio, and then in 3D cutouts.
