Salomon à Soliman

De Salomon à Soliman is an art history book authored by Mireille Royer-Benejeam and published by the Musée du Protestantisme in Ferrières, Tarn, France. The book discusses the encounters between the three monotheistic religions around the Mediterranean, from King Solomon to Suleyman the Magnificent.

I was commissioned to produce close to 60 watercolors for the book. They illustrate the essential phases of the evolution of the religious architecture dedicated to monotheism around the Mediterranean, from the 10th century BC to the 16 century.

The official book launch took place on November 16, 2019, to coincide with the opening of an exhibition of my original watercolors at the Museum.
